Shuttle

For getting to and from the airport, you can book a private shuttle here. Pricing is $270 USD one-way for 1-5 people and $280 for 6-10 people.

For larger parties, you can book a shared van shuttle that fits up to 10 people. The van is $220 USD total one-way, split among everyone riding. If other travelers fill the van, the cost is shared among all of you. If it doesn't fill, the riders still split the full $220. To book, email contact@tsprivatetransportation.com with the following information:

• Transportation: one way or round trip
• Hotel name
• Number of passengers
• Airport name
• Service: shared transportation
• Flight information, including the airline's name

All of our events are located close to one another in town, so a shuttle is all you need if you're staying nearby.

Car rental

We usually rent a car when we go down to Todos Santos. Our wedding planner has set up a preferred rate with National Car Rental to keep things simple. But most major car rental companies have a presence, so feel free to pick your favorite. One heads up: rental rates online can look very affordable, but Mexico requires local insurance regardless of your credit card coverage, so expect to pay an additional ~$100/day at the counter for this.

Shop

• The Blanket Factory: Family-run roadside shop just south of town. We spent an hour there, learned how the loom works, and bought the handmade blanket that's featured in our save the date picture
• La Sonrisa de la Muerte: Print gallery in town featuring woodblock prints, inspiration for the cactus block print in our invitations
• Todos Santos Market: Good spot for wandering around and picking up small souvenirs

Eat & drink

• Jazamango: Farm-to-table restaurant set in an orchard (~20 minute walk or short drive out of town)
• The Green Room: Aesthetic spot on the beach, great cocktails (~15 minute drive north of town, on a dirt road but worth it)

Outdoors

• Punta Lobos hike: Park at the Hotel San Cristóbal parking lot to access the trail head, then several options for hike length and difficulty (can do a 2-3 mile out-and-back if you're normal, or 10+ miles if you're a Rhine or Rios)
• Cerritos Beach: Best (and only) place you can actually get in the water. Consider taking surf lessons at Mario Surf School!

Passport & entry

A valid passport is required to enter Mexico. Make sure yours is valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates. No visa is required for US citizens.

Power & plugs

Good news! Mexico uses the same outlets and voltage as the US, so no adapters needed.

Currency

The local currency is the Mexican Peso (MXN). Most restaurants and shops in Todos Santos accept credit cards, but we recommend carrying some pesos for local markets, small shops, and tips. The ATMs in Mexico don't beep at you to take your card out, so make sure you remember to grab it before you walk away :)

Driving in Mexico

You will run into a couple toll stations on the way to Todos Santos. Please plan to have pesos on hand for these tolls. There are ATMs and currency exchanges at the airport after you clear customs.
